Peacock
Bears
Most Peacock bears that have been found were made in the 1930's.
When the company was bought by Chad Valley, in 1931, bears were
still produced with the Peacock label - the bear's characteristics
bore a strong resemblance to those produced and actually labelled
Chad Valley. The Peacock label was discontinued after 1939 so bears
with such a label are quite rare and sought after by collectors.
